IPAC Barrier Survey

You are invited to participate in a survey on infection prevention and control (IPAC) during the pandemic!

Did you or the health care providers in your organization face barriers to following infection prevention and control (IPAC) practices during the COVID-19 pandemic in B.C.? We’re learning from past experiences to improve our systems going forward.

If you are a direct health care provider or an IPAC professional working with health care providers, please complete this 10-minute survey. The survey will close on September 24, 2021.

Collaborators from Provincial Infection Control Network of BC (PICNet), University of British Columbia (UBC), Workplace Health & Safety and the IPAC Epidemiologists of British Columbia (ICE-BC) and multiple health authorities are running a quality improvement project to learn how the health care system can best support staff to follow IPAC practices.

This work will inform future IPAC interventions for health authorities across the province. The goal is to prevent the transmission of COVID-19, as well as future emerging infections.

If you have any questions/concerns, please contact Brooke Cheng, Research Assistant, at brooke.cheng@cw.bc.ca!
