PICNet's vision is to provide leadership and support to BC's Health Authorities aimed at decreasing the incidence of healthcare associated infections. Our goal is to work towards a safer and sustainable healthcare system.

Our Mission

PICNet's mission is to empower and enable healthcare professionals to provide safer healthcare and better outcomes for patients through evidence-based practice.

We do this by working together with the infection prevention and control Community of Practice, with our partners in the Health Authorities, Quality and Patient Safety, and the Ministry of Health to maximize coordination and integration of activities and promote consistency in HAI prevention and control.
